YAPI – Turkeybuild Istanbul, one of the five largest construction exhibitions in the world and the strongest cooperation platform in the region, which plays a major role in establishing new collaborations, was attended by 547 exhibitors and 857 brands from 13 countries. Over four days, it hosted 401 foreign purchasing specialists from 64 countries. In total, Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul welcomed 46,938 visitors from 125 countries, including 6,116 foreign visitors.

Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul, which is among the largest construction, construction material and technology exhibition in the world hosted 547 exhibitors and 857 brands from 13 countries.

Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul, which brought representatives of the global construction and building sector in Istanbul between April 17-20, took place with a busy schedule from its first day to its last day. Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul, where discussions on trends in the construction sector took place alongside exhibitions showcasing the latest construction technologies and building products, acted as an ideal platform for sector specialists to exchange current information in addition to the unique export opportunities it provides to its exhibitors.

Commenting on the exhibition, which attracted great interest from procurement professionals and exhibitors and where intensive business meetings were held, Banu Keskin, Director of Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul, said: “As Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul, which opened its doors for the 46th time this year, we are pleased to make significant contributions to both the country’s economy and the growth expectation of 4.5-5.0 percent for the construction sector. 401 Foreign Buyers from 64 Countries Attend Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul for New Collaborations

Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul, to which high numbers of exhibitors and visitors attended, was at the center of the global construction sector’s interest. Top-ranking, executive decisionmakers was invited to Türkiye under “VIP Hosted Buyer” program by ICA Events. The exhibition attracted a total of 46,938 visitors, hosting 401 foreign purchasing specialists from 64 countries over four days.

The exhibition hosted exhibitors from Italy, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Slovenia, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Poland, Austria and China with pavilions representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Russia and Poland.

Subjects of Change in the Sector: Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence and Carbon Neutral Buildings

Over the course of the 4 days of Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul, more than 50 speakers participated in 25 events, addressing key topics shaping the sector. These included architecture, innovative approaches in design and artificial intelligence, sustainability and building materials, with each day dedicated to a different theme.

The Golden Magnet Stand Design Awards Finds Their Rightful Owners

The traditional Golden Magnet Stand Design Awards of the 46th Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul were presented at a ceremony held at the end of the second day of the exhibition. At the ceremony, Retro Parke Mobilya was honored with the Honorable Mention Award, while Falcon Ağaç took the 1 st place, Samet Kalıp took the 2 nd place, and Derby Kimya took the 3 rd place.

Special Exhibition Tours with Expert Architects and Yapı Tech Garage for Start-ups

Yapı Master Class, the sixth annual event of Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul, provided visitors with an interactive exhibition experience alongside architects. Visitors registered for Yapı Master Class visited exhibitor booths among various product groups within the exhibition venue accompanied by the moderators and engage in discussions centered around the daily theme.

Visitors had the opportunity to directly contact with the master architects and engineers as the guests of the event as well as taking advantage of their experiences. At Yapı Tech Garage start-ups offering groundbreaking ideas to the sector had the opportunity to exhibit their innovative products.

Special Scaffolding & Formwork Hall in Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul 2024!

This year, in cooperation with SFMA and ICA Events, to enhance exhibitor companies’ interaction, a special hall for Scaffolding and Formwork companies was set up in the exhibition. In this special hall, where the member companies of Scaffolding and Formwork Manufacturers Association was also present, the exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase their products and establish new business networks.

Bookings Has Already Started for the 2025 Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul!

Preparations for the 47th Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul to take place in 2025 have already begun. As a result of the intense collaboration meetings that took place throughout the 4 days of the exhibition, almost all of the exhibitors participating in the exhibition from various countries this year have already booked their places for Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul, scheduled to take place from April 16th to 19th, 2025.
