Oğuz Bayazıt

Founder Oğuz Bayazıt Architecture

He was born in 1970 in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 1988 and from Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture in 1992. With his thesis titled “Choosing of a Building Envelope in line with Energy Conservation, Climatic Comfort and Construction Costs”, he did his master’s degree within the scope of the Building Information Program ITE Institute of Science. Between the years of 1992-1994, he worked as a designer and a site manager at architecture offices in Ankara and Istanbul. Between the years of 1995-1997, he acted as the General Manger of Çelebi Holding / Çelebi Mimarlık Mühendislik and actualized the design and application of the architecture projects of all air service centers throughout Turkey within the scope of ground servicing. In 1998, he founded his own architecture office in Istanbul. Since 2003, he has been continuing his works at his own company named Oğuz Bayazıt Mimarlık Mühendislik.

He specialized in various sectors thanks to the solutions he offered for all building layers, his “firsts” and projects upon which he reflected all of his knowledge and wealth. He systematically included the subjects of feasibility and optimization of building envelopes in all of his projects since he received his master’s degree.  Oğuz Bayazıt, who believes in the importance of designing the process instead of the final product, has a performance-based understanding of architecture that does not handle architectural design with pragmatic approaches that maximize a single benefit or with merely aesthetic concerns, embraces the importance of parametrical and systematical thinking and aims to optimize the needs of the user.
