Ahmet Burçin Gürbüz was born in 1984 in Iskenderun. He studied architecture and took part in projects on outdoor sports and technology. Also within this period, he received various awards in underwater screening and video contests. After graduating, he founded his first architecture office in Iskenderun and went on to actualize various projects respectively in Ankara and Istanbul. In 2012, he moved TasarımATLAS to Istanbul.
Among the works he worked on and designed within the period of his architecture studies in Ankara are niche, innovative and technological projects such as heliports, hydraulic and mechanical parts and new-generation flatbed trailers. This was a period that triggered his interest and passion for various disciplines such as technology, science and art.
Since 2012, TasarımATLAS Architecture has actualized projects at various scales and contexts adding up to a total of one million m2. In addition to conventional works, it has also actualized projects which combine steel framed buildings, parametric design and modular production systems.
Since 2016, in addition to the works of architectural design, practice and visualization within the body of TasarımATLAS, the team that combines various disciplines such as science and art continues to work on VR, AR and Mixed Reality applications and also on 360° photoshoots & video shoots and interactive visualization under the name of GarageATLAS.
